- 1 cup Rice flour
- 1/2 cup Curd
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/8 tbsp Baking Soda
- For Syrup –
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3-4 strands Saffron
- 1/2 tbsp Cardamom powder
- To Fry -
- As Required Oil

- Add rice flour, curd and water in a bowl and mix it well.



- Now, keep this batter covered for 2 hours.


- Add sugar, water and saffron threads in a pan and mix to make syrup.



- Heat oil in a pan. Add soda to the batter and stir.



- With the help of a deep spoon, drop the batter into the oil and fry on medium heat until golden brown in color.



- Remove the vada from the oil and immediately soak it in the syrup for 1/2 hour.


- Transfer to a serving plate and serve garnished with dessicated coconut, cardamom powder and rose petals.
